Glimmers
Glimmers is a series of lumen prints, a cameraless process made without a camera or darkroom chemicals. Botanical fragments are placed directly onto light-sensitive photographic paper and exposed in natural sunlight. As the light moves across the surface, the paper reacts slowly, shifting through tones that sit just on the edge of disappearance. Each image holds the trace of something real transformed by time and light into something else entirely.
This series draws on the slow, patient rhythms at the core of my practice: trusting materials that already hold their own histories, and allowing chance to intervene.
